Second session: Have your say on plans for the future public open spaces at Attleborough SUE
Do you want to help shape the future of the new public open spaces in Attleborough?
The first session on the 14th November was very well attended and resulted in helpful feedback to help shape emerging plans, but we are aware of technical issues that resulted in some attendees not being able to actively contribute. We apologise for this inconvenience and would like to extend this invitation to attend another webinar to voice your views about what is important in the design of the public open spaces for the Attleborough Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE).
This is a new development south of the market town, consisting of 4,000 new homes, a new local centre, primary school, and vast public open space. In all, the SUE will benefit from 92ha of open space – that is the equivalent to 148 footballs pitches!
To date, we have prepared an interim Linear Park Strategy that sets out our proposals for the future spaces, landscaping, community amenities, accessibility and a new linear walking route across the site. We are seeking feedback from the local community and key stakeholders to develop these proposals in order to submit a final Strategy for approval by Breckland District Council.
The public webinar will be held online on Wednesday 13th December 2023. It will give an overview of the scheme alongside an update on our progress bringing forward the first phase. Following which we will welcome feedback from attendees focused on the public open spaces.
